In i.MX6ULL reference maunal <http://nxp.com/doc/imx6ullrm>, chapter 48.3.2. It said Some security applications require a Monotonic Counter (MC) that can't be exhausted or returned to any previous value during the product's lifetime. Because the MC should never repeat a number, it can't be reset or cycled back to its starting count. If it reaches its maximum value it does not rollover. Instead, a monotonic counter rollover indication is generated to the SNVS_LP tamper monitor. This generates an interrupt to the host processor.
May we have an real example (some security applications) for using i.MX6ULL monotonic counter (LP-MC)?
