Restriction of i.MX8QXP 24MHz XTAL Cload value

Hi,

Are there some restriction of i.MX8QXP Xtal CLoad.

According to the data sheet 4.4.1 OSC24MHz, i. MX8QXP internal XTAL circuit has integrate trimmable internal loading capacitors.
So we understand that we can use any 24MHz Xtal which has any Cload value.

The data sheet says Typ CL 18pF, but we will connect  EPSON TSX-3225 (CL=9pF, 9pF smaller) and i.MX8QXP directly without extra capacitor. 

Are there any problems?

I’m afraid that i.MX8QXP is still on preproduction and no additional information/support could be provided yet. For further assistance, please contact with your NXP FAE/Sales or with your DBM.
