Dear Sir

Hello.

We have a NAND Flash bad block problem that needs your help.

The processor we use is the P2020. NOR, NAND, and CPLD are hung on the eLBC.
NOR: CS0, 64M Byte;   NAND: CS1, 1G Byte;   CPLD: CS2.
When the eLBC driver of the CPLD is not loaded, the NAND Flash is normal. After the eLBC driver of the CPLD is loaded, the files on the NAND Flash may be lost or damaged during the system running or power-on, resulting in more and more NAND bad blocks, which eventually cannot be used.
Do you have such a case? Or is there any suggestion?
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day.

We have a device errata, which states that simultaneous FCM and GPCM or UPM operation may corrupt NAND flash transaction. Please look P2020 device errata eLBC-A001. The recommended workaround is to set the local bus monitor timeout value to the maximum by setting LBCR[BMT] = 0 and LBCR[BMTPS] = 0xF. Hope this will be helpful.
