I am using the MPC5553EVBE board I have  sucessfully test the sample code on this board.
Today when I tried to flash same code debugger gives error "Can not enter into debug mode".
So, I feel that controller is not responding to the debugger. Also RESET Led of board is continuosly
blinking is this because of anyone of the port pin is shorted to ground.
Pls let me know ur suggestion.

Can you try to change the part into serial boot mode and see if the debugger can let you in to erase the flash?

 

It could be possible that you have erased the flash shadow row and secured the device.
