The IR receiver (P/N IRM-V538M3/TR1) implemented on i.MX8M mini EVK.

This module connect to GPIO1_IO13 of i.MX8MM. However, I could not find any description to use this module into iMX8MMEVKUG and latest Linux BSP documents (L4.14.98_2.0.0_ga)

How do I use this module with linux BSP?

I suppose NXP will support lIRC later. is it right?

Copy from iMX8MMEVKHUG.pdf.

Hi,

The IR Receiver on the i.MX8M Mini EVK board is intended for IR Remote Receiving. GPIO1_IO13 will be assigned as IO input, and will work with INT mechanism and internal Timer to decode different IR Remote protocol, such as RC-5, RC-6, ans so on. Normally, this code shall be built by customers themselves.

Have a nice day

Rita

Hi Rita,

I appreciate your support. I see.

NXP has already validated IR receiver? because, current schematics is here.

I think we need rework D709 to receive signals from U701.
