IMX8MQ, L4.9.88 - weston memory leak

We observe what we believe a serious memory leak in the Weston windows manager.

To reproduce, load the pre-built 4.14.78 images and log in to the shell prompt from the serial console. Run "Qt5_CinematicExperience &" (ie put it to the background). Don't do any activity with the application with touch or mouse, let it run by default.

Run "top".

In the "top" output, the top active processes are the application and weston. We observe that the physical memory used by the "weston" process grows continuously. At the same time, the memory resources consumed by the application doesn't change.

If you quit Qt5_CinematicExperience, weston doesn't release the consumed memory.

Eventually, in 6-7 hours of running Qt5_CinematicExperience, the memory gets exhausted completely.

Is there anyone who observe the same issue?
