Hi,
I'm slightly confused about the LDO_USB as described in section 4.2.2.2.3 of the HDG for the 1020. The implication is that this will produce a nominal 3V from the USB 5V in - is this intended to then be used as an input for the DCDC converter or is it _just_ to provide 3v for internal USB purposes? It would obviously be quite nice to avoid needing an external LDO if the one on-chip can be used!
If it can be used to power the DCDC converter what is its maximum current capacity please?
Regards
DAVE
The internal LDO_USB regulator is only meant for internal USB purposes. Its load capacity is not enough to supply anything else than the USB core.
Have a great day,
Artur
