Hello, I am trying to get up and running to evaluate the MBD Motor control toolbox. The requirements list is as follows, which I have setup a 30 day eval with Mathworks to eval this:

However when I run the MC toolbox examples, I get the following error, so is stateflow required or not?

Hi chris@beta.team‌,

Thank you for your interest in NXP MBDT Toolbox.

The Stateflow is not a requirement for the usage of the toolbox but some of the examples may use stateflow diagram to implement state-machine logic, hence it is recommended to have such license.

The list of dependencies are listed on the www.nxp.com/mbdt page

The minimal system requirements are:

  • MATLAB & Simulink (in think this is obvious why)
  • Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder and Matlab Coder (needed for code generation for embedded MCU and/or legacy C code usage)

Anything else is recommended but there are ways to workaround by modifying the models.

Hope this helps!

Daniel
