Hello,

when I write DFlash/PFash memory (with FCCOB registers) is it mandatory to disable the respective prefetch buffers?

Best regards,

E.

Hello Enrico,

The Flash commands do not update the content of the buffers.
For example, with the buffers enabled, if a PFlash address is read, then reprogrammed and read again, both read accesses will return the same data.
Because the single-entry buffer can store the previously read data (Section 35.2.1 RM, rev.9).
So, this is on the user’s responsibility.

Regards,
Daniel
