iMX.RT1050 dcdc can't work

hello:

In rare cases, iMX.RT1050 board dcdc can't work with the voltage is 0v. But under normal condition, the output is 1.25v with 528Mhz. Power up again the failure  is removed. It is a new developed board, I think the overcurrent is more possible . the datasheet metion that  dcdc has Over current protection,Over voltage protection and Low voltage detection。

1)Whether some register can record  the wrong time?

2)  DCDC Register 0  is  the settings as follows with reset。whether the 8/11/17 is open or closed?

3)whether it can close the the  overcurrent/ low voltage /high voltage or not ?  the setting is"1" is right?

Hi,

i.MXRT1050 power up required 1ms delay with DCDC_PSWITCH.

Please check picture for the detailed info:

Please refer below circuit design to add RC delay circuit at DCDC_PSWITCH pin.

I also recommend customer to add resistor or capacitor value to add delay time to DCDC_PSWITCH pin.

There couldn't record DCDC time.

If DCDC output voltage is 0V, the ARM core without power couldn't work.

There make no sense of DCDC register value.

Wish it helps.

Have a great day,
Mike

Sorry for the later reply.

I still confusion with  your question.

Could you provide the detailed info about internal DCDC working status?

If you could share your board power related circuit? Thanks.

best regards,

Mike
