Hello,
I am evaluating the TEA1753 for a LED driver application. I have been testing the evaluation module UM10444 and I have a question regarding the performance of the PFC. I attached a couple of images of the input current to the UM10444, one at 90W load and one at around 28W load. There is significant zero-crossing distorsion in both cases. Is there any way to improve the performance of the PFC? What exactly is causing the zero-crossing distorsion?
Best regards,
Niclas Samuelsson
Hi,
Can you show your test input voltage value and catch the waveform with VIN/IIN?
Can you show the related test PF value under different test condition?
You can also compare your test result with UM10444 page6 table1/2/3?
Or you can try to adjust the capacitor value of C1,C2 to improve PF value.
