Android Oreo 8.0: Use two displays with different resolution

I am using the default images on the i.MX6 reference board and I see that when using HDMI + LVDS display, Android works in mirror mode showing the same content in both displays, rescaling it if needed.

How can I configure Android so that different resolutions are used? (The HDMI negociated resolution for HDMI, and the LVDS native resolution for the LVDS display)

you can boot up dual display successfully, but couldn't show the different resolution, right? pls refer to the topic as below:
