iMX7D GPIO1_IO03 Alt4 configuration

Hello,

There was an option to configure GPIO1_IO03 pad of the iMX7D SOC to output 32kHz clock on the first releases of the pin configuration Excel files. Alt4 was osc32k.32K_OUT

Do you know why this option was removed from the Reference Manual and Pin Configuration program? Is option is still valid and working well on the iMX7D SOC.

Can you please tell us how this clock is produced and what is the source of this clock?

From our tests this clock is not sourced by the 32kHz crystal on the board.

Thank you.

According to the RM, there is no ALT4 option for GPIO1_IO03. That means this option is not valid to use.

According to the Table 5-11, the OSC_32K can be selected as clock source of CCM_CLKO2.
