I'm debugging an SBC with i.MX6SoloX MCU on it. There is video output using LVDS lines and NVME drive on PCIe.
When I copy significant files over PCIe into NVME LVDS output flickers (the video page is static at this time).
Running Yocto/Rocko
What should I look for? Could it be an issue with Linux BSP or this is more of a signal interference issue in hardware?
Does video output depends on the load of the CPU core or DMA?
The most likely cause of the issue is the memory bus bandwidth limitation that causes the video output breach during an intense data transfer. The possible solution is the memory usage optimization, transferring data by a smaller portions etc.
