Cloning and modifying an excisting board configuration

Hi,

f.ex. LPCXpresso54608.mex:

If the functional group "BOARD_InitBUTTONs" is removed, warnings are shown in the Problems tab - pins from the removed group needs to be routed.

How to get rid of these warnings, as I want to use the pins/signals for something else?

Hello Viggo,

in the Problems view you can see a column "Origin" - it means from where the requirement for routing pin(s) is coming - which Tool and which Functional group. In your case it will be probably the "Peripherals" tool and "BOARD_InitBUTTONsPeripheral" functional group check if it is your case and if yes, delete the GPIO component or re-configure based on your needs.

It solved my problem.

I was'nt avare of the difference between the pins- and the peripheral tool.
