Hi, I'm new in PowerPC. I'm looking for the MPC8313E-RDB card for beginning. My problem is that I don't have possibility for buying a debugger and then I want to load to RAM and run.

Is possible to do it?
If by mistake I'll erase the flash, is possible without debugger to burn it?

Thanks in advance.

Nope - sorry. If you blow away the flash, you need a debugger to re-flash it.

It should ship with uboot in the flash - which should allow you to update uboot / Linux at least.

Not quite true.  If you erase u-boot from the flash, you can boot from the I2C EEPROM which (at least on recent boards) contains an emergency flash load program.  This will allow you to use a terminal emulator with the kermit protocol to reburn u-boot.

See the Getting Started guide for more details.  In the rev. 1 document, it's section 3.2.
