Is there any way to build/configure (ISSDK) or download a Rapid-IOT SDK which would include the Sensor Fusion code
for the Rapid-IOT kit ?
You can find the SDK of the Rapid IoT available in the product page under the Software and Tools tab.
Regarding the sensor fusion , do you mean the shield ? or which one ? Are you using MCUXpresso ?
Thanks for your help.
I've already found and installed the Rapid-IOT SDK into MCUXpresso.
However, and unless I'm wrong, this SDK does not contain the "sensorfusion algorithm" of teh ISSDK which is
available for other dev kits such as the FRDM-KF64F one for example.
I'm not using any shield or click board at this time.
You are right, those are not already added to the project by default, you will need to add them by yourself and manage to add them based on the schematic and the routed pins in the board.
Sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you,
Thanks for your message. Do you know if adding this feature is in the Rapid-IOT SDK roadmap ?
Not sure if the sensor fusion library will be added. But please consider the great variety of available sensors usage that you already have in the atmosphere projects. Is there one in specific that you would like to use?
Also, consider an remember the different examples in the community.
Unless I'm wrong , the Atmosphere blocks provide "raw" values for various sensors I'm interested in:
The last 2 sensors at least need proper calibration to provide accurate data.
The NXP "Sensor Fusion" library not only provide a mean to perform such calibration (thanks to the Sensor Fusion Application)
but does also provide 6/9 DOF filtering features Out of the Box.
Of course such projects require MCUXpresso instead of using the on line IDE.
Ideally, it would be great to get the communication with the Android Sensor Fusion Application over BLE but this would
require the UART over BLE service...
