iMX7S GPIO's in reset state

When we put the iMX7S in reset state (via POR-Input) after it was working, the GPIO's are still driven like they were before. Could you confirm, that the processor is not resetting his GPIO's while a POR-reset, in case it was running before?

yes your understanding is correct as reset sequence starts after por release.
