The USB3 ports have a USB2 PHY and a USB3 PHY for backward compatibility. The USB2 PHY in this USB3 interface will use the same test procedures as for the USB2 port.

USB3 (Superspeed) tests are totally different from USB2 and required different USB test equipment.
All USB test related information is available from the USB-IF web site at www.usb.org/compliance
At the bottom of the page there are links to pages with test specifications and procedures. Note also that i.MX USB testing is not specific. The test procedures are universal. Therefore, customers may be better served by contacting a USB test house for information. These test houses can perform the testing for the customer as USB3.x test equipment is quite specific and still very expensive.
