Production Burning of My application on MC9S08AC128 Chip

Hi,

I am bit new to this micro-controller.

We have developed the application on MC9S08AC128 Chip, for development purpose i used the Code warrior tool. Now We want to go for thr production of our product where i need to Flash the 10K unts of the Chip for consumr products.

Please suggest me the ways i can burn the flash with my application.

What are the methods i can use can i use UART/any GPIO.

Please suggest me.

Hi,

You should use eg the USB Multilink or the Cyclone Pro from P&E.

There is ofcourse the DEMOAC board, but it is not designed to burn any MCU outside the board.

Put a 8 pin connector on your board, pinout see Figure 15-1 in MC9S08AC16 manual and connect the Flash burner.

It is as simple as that!

If you want to burn the Flash by some other port, you must first burn the initial program that will burn the final program. (Don't do it!)
