What are the differences between LPC540xx and Kinetis K64 ?

Hello, 

When picking a MCU for a product, what are the differences between LPC540XX and Kinetis K64 ? From my research, the only major difference is LPC has optional M0 core. Both have M4 core, about same clock rate ~120Mhz, about same flash/RAM, peripherals, ...

Are they different market targets ? Which one has more support in terms of software toolkit and libraries ?

Hi,

LPC54000 family is our new product line. There will be many new products in this family appearing in these years. But the criteria of choosing is your requirement.
 As I have say, Kinetis and LPC is same important to NXP.  We'll keep on going in both of the product line.
