current controller calculations MCAT tool

I'm using the MCAT tool for developing a new BLDC based motor control application (E-Boat). This tool is used to get the motor running in a basic configuration. Attached in the zip file, you will find screenshots of the tool, with values as used for the motor. When switching to the current controller tab, 2 errors do pop up (see attached zip file with screenshots). Has this to do with the used motor type (high voltage - high current)? Is there a document available how the values for the current controller are calculated form the motor parameters? (to check where the calculation goes wrong, it is expected that some values gets too small or too big somewhere in the middle of the calculations.

Hi,

Please check the application note AN4870 , the chapter 5 MCAT tool for BLDC motors provides parameters introduction.

Wish it helps.

Have a great day,
Mike
