Hi

Here are some of the mayor differences in between HC12 & HCS12:

HC12                  HCS12
16K-128K        16K-512K
1.2-0.5u             0.25u
8-12MHz            25MHz

Providing smaller dies and updated memory among other changes in our HCS12’s.

Have a great day,
Jennie Zhang

Hi,

"normal" was on older HC12 family, MC912D60(A), MC68HC912B32 etc. The biggest difference was top bus clock, HC12 8MHz vs S12 25MHz. A couple of instructions were taking bit more bus cycles.
