imx8mq evk + samsung HDR TV

hi NXP

we are using SAMSUNG 4k tv (version BA01 supports HDR )  with IMX8mq-evk 

the hdmi is not working and xwayland window is not coming on the tv 

showing hdmi plug in and hdmi plug out error on console 

the tv is detecting the device connected to it .like PC and settop box etc 

but the IMx8evk is not being detected by the tv and saying unknown device ?

could you please support us to resole this ? what could be wrong ?

we are using yocto xwayland image 

note: old samsung 4k tv is working with imx8mq-evk

Hi Bio,

thanks for suggestion, I tried with all ports available with TV and unfortunately none of them working 

the new samsung tv is detecting the hdmi device connected to it. (like PC and settp box etc)

do we need to enable  anything to support this detection in IMX hdmi-fw or hdmi driver ?

fyi:  also tried with disabling  CEC  ,hdcp options on imx side

I just can say to try to connect on another port, there is no report that MX8M works on one 4K Monitor and other no.
