We want to make 10W TX wireless charger(automotive).
But NXP has 15w(mwct101xA) and 5w(mwct100xA). Then 101xA is a proper solution for 10W solution?
I guess 15W solution itself can give 10W to RX only if RX requests 10W to TX.
But I wonder if there is something for reducing BOM,
If yes, what needs to be modified on both hw & sw sides?
For example, WCT-15WTXAuto uses a Digital buck/boost. The Rail voltage is up to 25V approximately.
if a 10W Solution, such a high rail voltage would not be required. So is the digital duck/boost able to be replaced with cheaper one( max 1x Voltage range)?
On SW side, there will be some parameters related with voltage or power limit. I wonder i fthese parameter also should be modified.

Hi Devin,
NXP reference design gives the ability to support 15W RX charging. And it can be used by customers to support 10W output without any change.
If your customer needs to replace the power input part, he can modify the HW and corresponding SW part accordingly (the source is open).
