LVD Module operation for Kinetis KE1xF Series Microcontroller

Hi,

I am using the Kinetis series KE1xF Microcontroller in my application.

The power supply to the microcontroller is set at 5V.

I would like to know the LVD module functionality when the Power supply is set to 5V.

In the datasheet, the falling Low voltage detect threshold is mentioned as 2.88V. Attached is snapshot for the same.

but when the supply voltage to microcontroller is 5V, what is the Low voltage detect threshold in this case? I suppose it cannot be 2.88V as the microcontroller cannot operate below 4V in case the supply voltage is set to 5V.

Please make me understand the LVD module operation and the corresponding reset scenarios  in case the supply voltage is set to 5V.

Thanks

Kunmit

Hello,

Well, I do not think that the manual spec has problems with LVD. Actually rising threshold is:
Rising threshold of LVR (Low Voltage Reset) = 2.7V + 45mV = 2.745V.
