Hello, I am new on Freescale. I am surprise Codewarrior will be installed only in virtual machine Windows XP, not in a usual Windows 64 bit like Win7. Is this real?

Hi Henry,

Could you tell us which MCU are you using? If you are not using a legacy device there should be a new CodeWarrior version that supports Win 7.

Hi Henry,

For the MC9S08SE8 devices you can use CodeWarrior for MCUs (Eclipse IDE), which comes with host operating system support for Win XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10:

CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers-Eclipse IDE|NXP

like programmer for hex files?
