Discussion created by Toño Hernández Employee on Mar 22, 2018

Functional Safety architect Jean-philippe Meunier will speak about Safety Power Management role in current fail operational system and its evolution in the challenges of L4/L5 autonomous driving next May 15th in Novi, Michigan USA at the ISO Summit 2018 —part of CTI Automotive week.

JP is going to deep-discuss about the role of a Power Management device developed as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) and how to build a higher availability power supply to respond to random hardware failures; also cover the limitations of the current fail-silent power supply generations in response to autonomous drive challenges. JP work is to assist OEMs meeting stringent safety standards and securing Functional Safety while successively integrating electronic components.

Because few other industries are growing and advancing so quickly as automotive, the CTI Automotive Week gathers more than a thousand experts from multidisciplinary automotive departments: powertrain, connectivity, electrification, automation, and safety. Share the voice and support JP session!
