Dear I.mX Community

I am trying to do the NFS setup using L4.9.11_1.0.0 BSPs on i.MX6ULL EVK with static ip configuration, I have setup the environment variables as below, but I am unable to get this NFS setup up and running, Hope because ethernet driver is not up in linux kernel (L4.9.11_1.0.0) I feel.

Could you please let me know how this NFS issue can be resolved

I see some timed out DHCP requests in the log.
Please make sure that DHCP server is running in your network.
Or as a workaround you can configure static IP instead.

Have a great day,
Victor

Thanks a lot for your prompt replies Victor and really appreciate the same

I would like to first get it working with static ip configuration first as per your suggestion, Even though I have configured to work with static ip, but still I am seeing "sending dhcp requests"

1. Could you please let me know how can I disable "sending dhcp requests.." And but still why I am seeing this sending dhcp requests even after configuring it to static ip as below?

Could anybody please reply for the above query, as it seems " run netboot" is taking dhcp even if we are explicitly setting "setenv ip_dyn no"

I think your issue with your ip= string.  You can use this as the reference for the format https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/filesystems/nfs/nfsroot.txt

This command worked for me on this version: Linux version 4.9.11-1.0.0+gc27010d99a3d

ip=${ipaddr}:${serverip}:${gatewayip}:255.255.255.0:hostname:eth0:off::

In my experience if it is missing any of the parameters to configure the static IP it defaults to DHCP
