How can be an empty external flash loaded in circuit
Another alternative : use the the LPCScrypt utility to download directly into flash via USB - http://www.nxp.com/lpcscrypt

Hello Angel!
Could you please provide more information of what you are trying to do. Are you trying to erase the external flash?
Have a great day!
Victor
Dear Victor.
I'm worried about how to load the programs into the flash memories (SPI
Flash and/or Parallel NOR Flash) during the manufacturing process.
I think that this could be done using Flash Magic and/or Ulink and MDK
Keil. Is this right?.
I think that for using Flash Magic, I should use USART0. But USART0 pines
are ocupied for Address signal. I prefer to keep the integrity of the
address bus for better electrical performance. Then, is it better to use
Ulink+Keil MDK?.
Thanks. Best regards.
Angel

Hello Angel,
According to the reference manual of the LPC18S50 (UM10430) you can also the use the USART3 for using flash magic, please reference chapter 5 page 56 section FEATURES.
If you want to load the programs from the JTAG instead of bootloader you can do this using the command line of LPCXpresso/MCUXpresso. Please refer to the next post to see how to do this:
Using the command line flash programming tool
Also, the option you mentioned Ulink + Keil MDK is a good choice, I just wanted to give you more options!
Hope it helps!
Victor Jimenez.
Hello Victor,
Thanks once again.
I'll try all your recommendations.
Then, I'll decide what of them will be the most suitable for developing and for manufacturing.
Best regards.
