Waking up from LPU_STOP with pretended mode's TIMEOUT

Hey,

I've been struggling with getting in & out of LPU_STOP mode for quite some time.
I tried using the example everyone refers to.

It seems to get into LPU_STOP, where all cores are not running, but after waking it up with a random CAN fame on CAN_0, I think the MCU was stuck in LPU_RUN where only core 2 was running (I saw a small bump in current).

I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Is there a full example where the MCU wakes up back to full DRUN from timeout on CAN_0's pretended mode?
That example will not be board dependent at all, and should work on my board seemlesly.
I'll be able to work out the differences from there.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

Looks like I can get into LPU_STOP, but after sending a CAN frame that wakes up the MCU, it restarts.
At least the Z4 core does. I do not understand why, because I followed the published example.
