Series Termination Resistor

I am connecting the i.MX6UL device with an FPGA through an RMII interface. Since this is a high speed transmission line which needs a series termination resistor. I assume maximum drive strength has typ impedance value is 23Ohm based on the datasheet, and it would need a 30Ohm resistor in series to die out the reflected voltage at load. Any recommendation for this topic?

Hello,

Please look at some comments below regarding the issue.

1.

Customers can refer to section 3.5.2 (High speed signal routing recommendations) of Hardware Development Guide for the i.MX 6UL.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/IMX6ULHDG.pdf

2.

IMX 6UL EVK may be used as an example.
