MPC5644A ：how to use the dma by the PIT moudle

The PIT moudle in the reference datasheet just exhibit that it can generate the DMA trigger. I don't know how assign it to the DMA,so i look for help here. I really appreciate if you give me a example  more. THanks !

Hi,

I’m afraid that’s a mistake in the reference manual. DMA does not support PIT triggering on this device.

Supported modules can be found in Table 8-22:

The references to DMA should be removed from the PIT module description. I will notify the documentation team. Sorry for inconvenience.

Hi,  but i had dowmloaded the example file named Tips and Tricks with DMA on MPC 56xx.  The process example in it right  or not?could you point out this?Thank you very much.

Hi,

this feature is not supported by all devices from MPC56xx family. The example from application note AN4147 is written for MPC5607B where it is supported.
