Application bin files in kw40z in MAC software

Hello everyone, 

I am currently working with the frdmkw40z. I want to use 802.15.4 standard for my project. I am trying to understand the application examples provided by nxp to adapt it in my application. What I wanted to know is if there is any place where I can get the code of the bin file found in  KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1\ConnSw\tools\binaries.

Hi Alda,

You can find the source code/projects files in the corresponding folder of the board.

For example:

smac_connectivity_test_frdmkw41z.bin -> the source code/project is located in: ...\MKW41Z_ConnSw_1.0.2\boards\frdmkw41z\wireless_examples\smac\connectivity_test\.

Thank you for the reply. What I really meant was that there is a folder with binary files (See the Picture below) which don't have its corresponding source codes. Do you have any idea where can this codes be found.

Hello, 

You can find those source codes in the examples board folder:

C:\Freescale\KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1\ConnSw\examples

In those folders, you can find the different examples available, in the Bluetooth, you will find available a set of examples which are even more than the ones in the binary files.
