I recently purchased chargers for my shop to use, with the hope that my technicians could easily change the output(voltage/current/runtime) from the display board, these chargers are capable of it..... However, you have to have a hardware key to unlock the functionality. I would have no problem purchasing a hardware key from the Mfg., however, they went out of production over a decade ago.... These keys are not available, and the Mfg. stopped support and making replacement parts for the charger itself over 5 years ago. I have a GQ 4x4 that I can read and write files from/to the eprom. but that is as far as I can go. I need someone who can help me remove the need for the hardware key and make the VVR/Constant current options open.

I've been reading and researching as fast and as much as I can, but I fear I am way WAY over my head.  Can anyone point me in the right direction.  I have found it very difficult to find the information I have so far, for a chip that is almost 20 years old.
