Ecran clavier non reconnus au démarrage

Bonjour,

Premier essai de la board IMX7 SABRE (dual appli duo), sur laquelle je boote simplement sur la carte SD fournie (Linux L4.1.15_2.0.1) je branche un ecran LCD (port HDMI) et un clavier (port USB). L’écran n'est pas reconnu ni le clavier .

J'obtiens une trace par le port de debug qui semble confirmer un problème de driver video.

Ensuite forcément, sans clavier impossible d'aller plus loin.

Des idées ? Je pensais qu'il n'y avait rien de particulier à faire pour un tel essai "out of the box"

Hello Pascal,

From the log you shared the bootloader is not finding any panel and defaulting to the TFT43AB.

If you wish to use HDMI for display output you would need to add the corresponding boot arguments. You may find them on the i.MX Linux Release Notes. They would be:

video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi, 1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24

You would need to add these variables using the debug console.

Thanks for your answer, but this does not work.

The main problem is not the screen, since I can see the boot sequence through the console

I connect a laptop with minicom installed.

And I use the supplied USB cable to connect to Debug UART port)

I see that the linux OS is started and when the “login :” is displayed I m not able to enter anything.

Neither trying with a keyboard on the USB port nor trying through the console interface

I think a correctly follow instructions from SABRE Board QSG, but something goes wrong

And when I look at the console I can see

I don’t know if it is a normal behavior.
