TEF6686 Silicon Tuner Evaluation Board

Question asked by Bright Wang on Dec 13, 2017

We're On The Road Of Debugging Engineering Board Of Our Own Designed I.MX6 Quad Base Head Unit. In The Board We Also Use The TEF6686 Silicon Tuner. In Fact All The Functions Are Brought Up Besides TEF6686. After A Tough Code Jobs To Initiate I2C Register We Find We Can Catch The Device By I2C Bus And Also Can Read / Write Value To Register But Read No Signal Quality Value.

In The Engineering Version We V102 Chip Is Mounted In Stead Of Final Part V205. (We Design Our Board By Referring To V205 Design Reference And Plan To Use V205 TEF6686AHN/V205K Finnaly).

I'm Not Sure If There Are Differences Between The 2 Versions (Register Init / Address Or Somewhere Else).

And We Really Do Need The Evaluation Board To Compare Our Own Board And For A Series Of Testing.

But This Part Release No Board Open For Sales.

The Board According To NXP Local Sales Distributor In Taiwan Said Need To Apply For And Can Only Get From China Shenzhen NXP Team. They Also Told Us NXP Ship The Evaluation Board Only To The Customers They Really Think Something. Not For Every NXP Customers. It Sounds Really Disappointing.

Can Any One Help Us?
