Invalid character MalformedURIException

Hello everyone,

I just installed the MCUXpresso IDE v.10.1.0 for Windows. But it doesn't work properly due to an "invalid" character in my user folder name, the ide uses this folder to store some info. And the new sdks dragged to the main screen, by default.

I wonder if there's a way for me to change that folder to somewhere I could control the folder name?

I've captured the error screen, attached.

Thanks

Dear Christofer,

thanks for reporting. It seems the problem is related to a non-latin character (or a char with a non standard accent) in your machine user name.

The only workaround we can think of for the moment is to change your user name.

I apologise for the inconvenience and we look to solve this issue in a future release.

Regards,

MCUXpresso IDE Support Team
