Hello
We are working with a quite old hardware here based on the i.mx27 and now I'm wondering what's the purpose of the input pin osc32k_bypass. Could anybody explain?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Beat
Hello Beat,
When the OSC32K_bypass pin is set to high it instructs that the 32Khz clock will be feed into the processor trough the an external 32khz oscillator connected to the EXTAL32K pin. This is meant for test purposes only so in your application is strongly recommended that the OSC32K_bypass signal is set to 0.
I hope this helps!
