Hello,

I have a LPCXpresso LPC11C24 Rev B board from embedded artists. I need to power the board externally using a lab power supply.

Please suggest what is the right way to do it.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes. I am just asking how to hook up a lab power supply to LPCExpresso.

Will the power supply of 3.3 V to the "EXT_POW"  pin 1 of J1, power the LPC-LINK and the target  side as well?

If you're connecting via the LPC-LINK, I believe the USB will supply power, and no external supply is required.

From the description, "... or from USB via JTAG probe (LPC-LINK)"

Are you just asking how to hook up a power supply?

From the product description:

3.15V-3.3V external powering, or from USB via JTAG probe (LPC-LINK)

Then clicking the link for the schematic I see on the first page an explanation of external powering. Then on page two I see "EXT_POW" is pin 1 of J1.

Is this enough to get you going?
