Hi,

I am trying to interface DDR3 (separate memory devices, not DIMMS) with T1042. While configuring registers, i need to know am i using unbuffered memory or registered memory. Please guide me on how can i verify that?
Moreover i want to know in which case i need to program my "control words register". Thank you!

Your case corresponds to "unbuffered memory". Normally "registered memory" means a registered DIMM (RDIMM), it is not applied to designs with separate memory devices.

DDR's Register Control Words need to be used/programmed only if a RDIMM requires that.
