No HDMI Display for i.MX 6QuadPlus/6Quad/6DualLite SABRE- AI

Hello,

I am using i.MX 6QuadPlus/6Quad/6DualLite SABRE-AI with Andriod N.

I have tried LVDS Display for a 10 inch screen display and it is working fine.

I am trying the HDMI Display for a monitor by following the manual I have which says,

To boot from SD, set the U-Boot environment variables as shown below:
U-Boot > setenv bootcmd boota mmc1
U-Boot > setenv bootargs console=ttymxc3,115200 androidboot.console=ttymxc3 consoleblank=0

With the settings above, the Android platform does not start the shell console. It enables the default Android selinux and
dm_verity security features, which restrict users to change the system and detect the system's information. To avoid this,
"androidboot.selinux=permissive" and "androidboot.dm_verity=disabled" need to be appended to the U-Boot's bootargs.

Hello Suhas,

So after I finish my build for a i.mx6 sabresd_6dq board and everything is fresh I only need to add this line to uboot to use my hdmi monitor:

=> setenv bootargs console=ttymxc0,115200 init=/init video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,bpp=32 video=mxcfb1:off video=mxcfb2:off video=mxcfb3:off vmalloc=400M androidboot.console=ttymxc0 fbmem=28M androidboot.hardware=freescale cma=448M

After this, the monitor works and a keyboard and mouse are needed to interact with Android N. If the Freescale touch screen is still plugged in the sabre board then Freescale logo will display on it but afterwards the touch screen is no longer useful.

I did try to boot the system using the command which you have given too, but with no results, I am still unable to see my monitor booting up. It seems that my monitor is not getting any input, but it is connected to the board properly. Could there be any other way in which I can boot my monitor from SD card? If so, please share. I am stuck with this from past two days.
