Has anyone experienced a stuck-low input pin problem with the MC13213 IC?

I have MC13213 port pins PTA0(pin 62) and PTA1(pin 62) configured as digital active-low inputs with internal pullup enabled for each pin.  Sometimes they would all of the sudden stuck low, measuring <0.04V & <100Ohms short to GND, and fail.  Even power cycling the chip would not get rid of the problem.  Has anyone come across this strange behavior and know what is the cause?  We have identical circuits to other PTA# pins but none of the other pins would exhibit this failure.

Hello Bill,

MC13213 is not recommended for new designs and is no longer supported. You can check out our IEEE® 802.15.4-based Wireless MCUs - 2.4 GHz Solutions for a list of our latest products.

About your issue, please verify that no external hardware is holding the pin low and that the pin is being configured correctly as an input. If this issue is only present on one board it could mean that the part has been damaged.
