Dear Sir,
I have modified the MPC5744P DCF to make the MCU in censored mode.
See attached picture for the dump of UTest Flash memory.
I changed the password to be 66666666 33333333.
And change the censorship control word from 55AA to 55BB.
Do you see any problem here?
After reset (sys.up in Lauterbach), the MCU JTAG is locked.
I tried to access with "sys.option keycode 0x6666666633333333"
or "sys.option keycode 0x3333333366666666"
But still not able to access the MCU.
Do you have any suggestions?
Regards,
Jason

Peter,
Have you ever tried this in S32DS?
I changed the setttings in S32DS debugger:
Debugger => GDB Server Settings => Sever Parameters => -uncensorpassword=6666666633333333
But not able to connect to MCU.
Do you have any suggestions?
Hi, Peter,
Thank you for your help.
I was able to uncensor the MCU.
I found that I must use sys.attach and cannot use sys.up to connect to MCU via JTAG.
And I also found that if I ever used sys.up to try to connect, I have to power down and power up the PCB again to make sys.attach work. That means, after power up, there is only one chance to uncensor this part.

Jason Yang
