I am wanting to convert a SPDIF signal to stereo analogue and the UDA1352TS appears to do exactly what I want but is flagged as obsolete. What is the replacement part for it?
Hi,
Unfortunately, there are no Audio DACs recommended for new designs in the NXP current portfolio, sorry about that.
Would you be interested in the full Audio Codec IC instead?
The SGTL5000 is a is a low-power stereo codec is designed to provide a comprehensive audio solution for portable products that require line-in, mic-in, line-out, headphone-out and digital I/O.
You can find the datasheet for this codec in the link below in case you can be interested in a codec: http://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/SGTL5000.pdfhttp://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/SGTL5000.pdf
Have a great day,
Jose

Thanks for that info Jose. That chip is not quite as good as the UDA1352TS was as it doesn't handle the SPDIF so would still need pair with another chip to do the job. The UDA1352TS was nice in that one chip took you from SPDIF to analogue audio but no one seems to do that any more, I have found a few two chips solutions so I guess I will just go with one of those for now.
