Hi all,

In MC9S12XET256 MCU i'm using 'Program Once filed' to store serial number of device. This 'Program Once field' is 64 byte size, is placed at 0x400100 address in memory and can be write only once and is no way to change this after once write.

Is something like this in MC9S08DZ96CLF? I have to store serial number of device based on MC9S08DZ96CLF in memory and i dont want to change it in the future. Also i want protect this area of memory against program or erase operations.

I found information in datasheet about EEPROM Block Protection but i don't know this area is always protected because I can still change registers NVPROT and FPROT.

Best
