I am looking for the correct IDE/compiler
Carlos;
Thank you for the reply. I downloaded the latest version and when I try to open a project file it says it is not supported. This is a old codewarrior project from a previous engineer who is providing no help to the company anymore. I am trying to load up the project and get it to compile. The only comment that existed was Codewarrior 5.2 was used. Any thoughts on how to get this project into the new version?
Thanks, Jeff
Hi Jeff,
The cleanest way to import the project to CodeWarrior would be to create a Bareboard project in CodeWarrior 10.7 and copy your drivers from the 5.2 project. I would recommend you to use the new linker file and startup code, just compare it with the ones in your previous project to make sure there is no need to make any changes. Also, compare the project properties to match the ones in your previous project. For detailed information please see this document:

Hope it helps!
