i am using s32k144,
i want to make a GPIO pin as input so that i can get external level on this pin.
i will connect a series resistor with the pin to limit the current.
i have a question, what's the value of series resistor ?
can i use a 1MΩ resistor?
I want to know that what's the minimum crrent does the input GPIO pin need?

Hi,

If a pin is in Input mode, it does not need current.

This pin has high input impedance, the leakage current in typically only 0.005uA, max 0.5uA (Datasheet, Table 10).

Injection current is limited (max +-3mA) if the input voltage exceeds Vdd/Vss (Datasheet, Table 1).

Regards,

Daniel
