Local group development using FSL Community BSP

Question asked by jack ou on Sep 12, 2017

Hi,

We are now using FSL Community BSP 2.2 Morty release to build for our custom board based on Ls1021atwr.

Everything works fine.   We can repo and bitbake the target images.

We want to maintain a local git server to host the source code for the BSP, so that every source code change can be version controlled and shared by developers.

Is there a good practice to do this ?  we notice that under the BSP, there are many git submodules pointing to remote server.  For example, uboot is a git submodule "url = git://git.freescale.com/ppc/sdk/u-boot.git".

Just wondering normally how people handle these source codes and do local revision control ?

Any successful stories or ideas are welcomed !

Many Thanks !
