Which interfaces of the LS1043A can be utilized to initially program an insitu blank NOR Flash on the IFC interface? Or JTAG only? Thanks!

I'm trying to program an insitu blank NOR Flash on the IFC interface of the LS1043A? Can a USB or some other interface other than the JTAG port be utilized to do that?

If the RCW source configuration pins are hardwired to select this NOR flash as RCW source then USB or some other interface other than the JTAG port cannot be utilized to do that. The LS1043A can load the RCW and boot code from SD interface and then program the NOR. Of course in this case board should have (micro)SD card slot and RCW source switch. The SD card can be prepared with the external computer using the NXP SDK.
